This is a FT position. Under the limited direction of the clinics nurse manager and the Registered Nurse on the GTFC team, the LPN is responsible for coordinating and administering comprehensive nursing care to patients, pre-birth to elderly, throughout the assessment, diagnostic and treatment process under direct supervision of the physician. Assists the faculty with the Family Practice Residency Program Clinical Education component. Performs or assists in scheduling patient related diagnostic tests and performs general clinic maintenance duties in a timely, efficient and courteous manner. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited practical school of nursingLicensure: Current practical nurse license for the State of MissouriCertifications: Current IV certification, current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certificationKnowledge/Skills: Excellent communication skills, Strong organizational skills, ability to teachExperience: One to two years of physician office experience. Experience in performing EKGs,vision and hearing screening, assisting in various office procedures, and experience in giving adult and pediatric injections.
