Employee Health Nurse - Part-time(Job Number: 9724-12) Missouri-Lees Summit-Lees Summit Medical CenterSchedule: Part-time Description POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: Under general direction of the Director of Human Resources and in collaboration with corporate TPA coordinates multiple facets of organization employee health and workmans compensation program. Responsibility includes comprehensive management of the workmans compensation and employee health program. Performs data/trend analysis, which guides follow-up activities and evaluates effectiveness of prevention/control measures. Provides ongoing case management of workmans compensation program to meet both employee and organization goals. Reports activities to various hospital and medical staff committees. Develops and revises hospital policy and procedures to meet regulatory requirements and based on needs. Works collaboratively with Director of Human Resources to monitor and administer Employee Health Program policies and procedures. Provides backup assistance to the Infection Control Nurse. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing (RN) BSN preferred. Previous Employee Health/Workmans Compensation program experience. Minimum of 5 years experience in clinical nursing with management responsibility. Knowledgeable regarding OSHA standards. Licensure/Certifications: Missouri RN licensure Part-time position to work 20 hours per week.
