Responsible and accountable for the teaching, assessment, safety and monitoring of chronic and acute hemodialysis patients as well as providing support and education to the patients family. Functions as an intricate member of the multi-disciplinary team.Essential Job Qualifications:Education: Minimum 2 yr. College degree; preferred 4 yr. College degreeExperience: Minimum 1 yr. Acute care experience; preferred 1 yr. Hemodialysis experienceTraining/License: NYS Registered Professional Nurse; BLS and ACLS CertificationsOther: Nephrology nursing certification, med/surg nursing certification
