This position will be responsible for providing pre and post operative evaluation in an outpatient clinic setting, inpatient care and surgical assisting. Duties include: providing initial and ongoing assessment of the patients´ status, conducting physical examinations and conducting health history; ordering labs ands x-ray exams; managing ongoing care of the patient; discussing and developing diagnosis and treatment plans with staff Orthopedists: discussing with and instructing patient family members regarding treatment and follow-up: and performing related duties as assigned. Our 14 Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are led by a Physician Assistant and are supported by an administrative structure that emphasizes work-life balance, personal and professional empowerment and respect.Qualified candidates will have completed an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. Also must have current registration to practice as Nurse Practitioner in Minnesota and appropriate advanced practice nursing certification. Prefer 3-5 years experience. Experience in orthopedics strongly preferred.
