Intermountain is recognized as a leading healthcare system and a model for what is right in American medicine.The Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical / Surgical and Inpatient Services is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing the needs of and planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients on the Medical / Surgical Unit and other inpatient services areas of the medical center.  The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by appropriately combining technology, therapeutic interventions, evidence-based practices, and coordination / collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to provide safe, compassionate, effective, and efficient patient care..    The Park City Medical Center will be a convenient resource for local healthcare needs and for stabilizing patients who require transport to Salt Lake City for more critical care. The new Park City Medical Center will be open for patient care this September and will offer a wide-range of services, including: 24-hour Emergency Care Six state-of-the-art Operating Rooms Family & Internal Medicine Orthopedic & General Surgery Cardiac Care Pediatrics Obstetrics & Gynecology Radiology/Imaging   The Park City Medical Center is conveniently located at Quinn´s Junction in Park City, just off Highway 40. Current State of Utah Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse or license eligible.Two or more years RN experience is required.RN Med/Surg experience preferred.Current BLS (Health Care Provider) or higher CPR Certification required ACLS preferred.Ability to lift and transfer patients efficiently.Basic telemetry / cardiac monitoring preferred.

We care for all of the trauma patients that come into the hospital, either from the ER, OR, or Shock Trauma ICU. These patients are a very diverse population depending on what their trauma involves. We also care for all general surgical patients, including: GYN, general surgery, special GYN oncology surgery, jaw, plastic, and urology. This is a very dynamic, fast paced unit. This is a great place to get a little bit of everything in nursing and to obtain great nursing experience and skills. The RN position on this floor is accountable for the provision of safe, efficient and therapeutically effective care. Utilizing the nursing process, care is delivered in compliance with hospital policies and procedures, legal and regulatory standards. Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse which allows you to practice in the state of Utah, or be license eligible. Must have BLS health care provider or higher CPR certification. Must have a minimum of one year RN experience or membership in Urbab Central Region New-Grad Residency Program. ICU experience preferred. Must be willing to work varied shifts.
