Lancaster General Health is recruiting for a System Administrator to help build and maintain their EpicCare Ambulatory application.
In this role, you will primarily be responsible for the build, maintenance, support, and optimization of the EpicCare Ambulatory application. The positions secondary responsibility will be support of ambulatory practices as they implement and Go-Live with the Electronic Medical Record. The position requires a high level of clinical knowledge, use of critical thinking skills and prioritization of work.REQUIRED EDUCATION & LICENSURE:-Current licensure as Registered Nurse, issued by the PA State Board of Nursing.-Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing or a related field is required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. ESSENTIAL JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE: -Clinical knowledge in a hospital or ambulatory environment.-Basic knowledge and understanding of physician office processes and workflows.-Strong computer background. -Two (2) years in each of the following is required for the position: System problem solving and solution analysis, purchasing/implementing systems, testing programs / systems, and writing of User documentation.-One (1) year experience in: Coordinating projects that involve computer software implementations, daily operational support, review and evaluations of system performance, with demonstrated skills in project management involving other peoples work. PREFERRED JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE: -EpicCare Certification.-Two (2) years working in an ambulatory setting.-IS/IT background, including basic software development methodology.
