CHS has an immediate opening for a full-time Behavioral health Case Manager to join our team of growing professionals. Reporting to the Manager of Utilization Management and according to established policies and procedures works closely with physicians and their staff, hospital Case Management/Utilization Management, discharge planners, patients and their families and managed care organizations. Manages resource utilization and the quality of services delivered to all medical group members through the daily management of psychiatric hospitalizations and other mental health care services provided. Conduct audits and draws conclusions to provide education to the Mental Health providers, Primary Care and the consulting physicians based on the utilization trends and practices.KNOWLEDGE, PRACTICAL EXPERIENCE AND LICENSURE/REGISTRATION REQUIRED:1.Two (2) or more years of progressively responsible experience in either behavioral health/psychiatric clinical LCSW or hospital nursing experience.2.Specialized training in behavioral health utilization review and QA practices and/or case management in a managed care setting preferred.3.Current licensure in the State of Illinois as a:Registered Nurse (Bachelors degree preferred), orLicensed Clinical Social WorkerWe offer a very competitive benefits package including paid time off and a 401(k) savings retirement plan.
