Maryland General Hospital is currently seeking nurses with experience in ED/ICU/Tele and must have at least 5 years of nursing experience.
The Registered Nurse, as a partner in the health care team, has the overall responsibility for assuring that the nursing process is followed for each patient from admission through discharge. The RN is responsible for managing, directing and supervising, all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment in the unit and for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. The Registered Nurse for this position must have worked with: Chest pain - complete evaluation is conducted in the ER, including blood work, EKGs, cardiology consultation and stress test Strokes - Maryland General has been designated as a Primary Stroke Center and has a Neurocare Unit Congestive Heart Failure Pulmonary conditions - COPD, Asthma and Pneumonia Gastrointestinal problems (GI) Kidney failure Pediatrics Geriatrics - Evaluation and diagnostic care for the elderly Minor trauma & orthopedic injuries
