Currently Maryland General Hospital is hiring for a Registered Nurse to work in our Nurse Registry/Float Pool. This individual must have at least 3-5 years of experience in the following areas: Emergency, Intensive Care, Telemetry and Medical Surgical. Duties and Responsibilities:- Overall responsibility for assuring that the nursing process is followed for each patient from admission through discharge. - Responsible for managing, directing and supervising, all assigned personnel, supplies and equipment in the unit. - Promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. - Expectations in exercising judgment in the care of patients and in the management of personnel. The RN will adhere to all regulations of the Nurse Practice Act. Requirements:- Must have 3-5 years of nursing experience.- Must have experience in: Emergency, Intensive Care, Telemetry and Medical - Surgical.- Currently licensed in the State of Maryland.- Certification in specialty desired (ACLS/PALS)To learn more about Maryland General, please visit our website www.marylandgeneral.org.
