Maryland Inpatient Care Specialists (MDICS) is developing a new inpatient pain management service in collaboration with Anne Arundel Medical Center (AAMC). Will work in concert with an AAMC employed nurse practitioner to design and implement pain service at a busy and growing regional medical center. Joint and Spine, Surgical, Medical, and Cancer patients will form the base of the practice.Exciting Opportunity to Develop Your Own Program and then Market the Program to Other Hospitals with the Support of MDICS.Responsibilities Include: - Plan and Develop Pain Management Service - Direct Patient Care to include initial consultations and follow-up visits - Participate in Hospital Committees - Call coverage in concert with Pharm Ds and employed N.P.Requirements: - Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program - RN License (Maryland) - At least two years experience (preferably more) - Affable personality with sincere desire to build a new practice - Understanding of E&M coding (we will teach you!)Benefits: - Salary $110 to $115k/year - Bonus (Quality and Productivity) to $20k/year - Health Insurance - Life, Short and Long Term Disability Insurances - Four Weeks of Leave - $1500 CME - Malpractice with Tail Provided - Profit Sharing Retirement Plan
