We are seeking a Nurse Content Analyst to join the Nursing Solutions and Regulatory Content team.
The candidate will develop clinical content to support nursing and Allied Health professional workflow and clinical applications. Plans, conducts, and directs the analysis of clinical/ healthcare business problems to be solved with clients via automated systems and/or business processes. Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating programs, applications software, and/or services for clients. May recommend changes in software development, business processes, maintenance, and/or system standards. Partners with clients and/or business users to identify, evaluate, and develop products, procedures and/or systems which are cost effective and meet business needs* 8+ years experience in clinical/healthcare field, computer applications, designing, building, and implementing business solutions using information technology. * Significant experience in business analysis and definition and deployment of business requirements to information systems. KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS* Nurse (RN or allied health professional) with working knowledge of clinical content development process required. * Must have ability to perform literature searches and synthesize evidence. * Must possess familiarity with clinical standards and outcome measures, physician order entry and documentation, and clinical information systems. * Requires ability to define content to support physician applications and workflow to meet regulatory and standards requirements for the provision of medical care in the inpatient setting. * Knowledge of Horizon applications a huge plus.EDUCATION* 4-year degree in nursing or healthcare-related field required. * Degree in Medical Informatics highly desirable.
