Memorial Health System, Colorado Springs CO Clinical Education (115) - Full-time Exempt - Monday-Friday - Day shift Salary range begins at $58,843 This position is responsible for program planning and implementation, unit or division orientation, a comprehensive preceptor program, departmental and institutional continuing education, research and performance improvement, resource management, and clinical education and evaluation of the nurse in clinical performance. In consultation with Clinical Managers and the Director of Critical Care Services, fosters a climate that enhances professional growth of all staff. Works in collaboration with area specific CNSs to provide continuing education and orientation programs. Works with Clinical Development Educator to operationalize PBDS system in critical care areas. Minimum Education: Graduation from a school of nursing, Masters Degree in Nursing (MSN). Current RN license valid in the State of Colorado or willing to obtain a Colorado license. BLS Certification, ACLS Certification.Minimum Experience: Demonstrates competence in education theory, curriculum development, and teaching. Current critical care clinical experience.
