This position is responsible for system wide program planning and implementation, division orientation, a comprehensive orientation and preceptor program, departmental and institutional continuing education, research and performance improvement, resource management, and clinical education and evaluation of the nurses and technicians in clinical performance. In consultation with Clinical Managers, Director of Nursing Support and the Director of Emergency Services, fosters a climate that enhances professional growth of all staff. Works with the Clinical Development Educator to operationalize the PBDS system in the Emergency Services area. Minimum Education: Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or related field. Must be licensed to practice professional nursing in the State of Colorado or willing to obtain a Colorado license. BLS Certification.Minimum Experience: At least 3 years Emergency Department Nursing experience within the past 5 years. ACLS Certification, TNCC and ENPC certification preferred, Achieve TNCC Instructor status and ENPC Instructor status within the first year and maintains Professional development.Salary range begins at $58,739
