The Nursing Education Coordinator is responsible for those activities which support and enhance professional development of nursing and clinical service managers and staff. These activities include, but are not limited to the assessment, planning, conduct and evaluation of nursing orientation, continuing education and inservice education. As a member of the Professional Development Department you will be responsible for the coordination of educational programs, develop policies, run various committees, assist with nursing grand rounds, work with vendors and run a skills fair.EDUCATION: Master“s degree in Nursing required.EXPERIENCE: Education computer skills and clinical experience required preferred.LICENSE: R.N.SPECIAL: BLS & ACLS Instructor preferredMemorial Hospital has opportunities that no other hospital can offer.
