POSITION REQUIREMENTS CHW Catholic Healthcare West Gilbert, AZNurse PractitionerGrant funded position for approximately 2 years.Provides cardiology services and care to hospital patients and clinic patients as well as strong emphasis in clinical research. Services are provided under the direction and responsibility of Physician by performing the following duties: Performs patient clinical assessments. Performs data collection for clinical research trials i.e. screening, patient consent, specimen collection, data collection and entry. Performs follow-up appointments, as needed, for research patients and assists research staff with research study-related procedures. Performs comprehensive physical examination and compiles patient medical data including health history and results of physical examination. Records/dictates progress notes and assists in provision of continuity of care. Discharges patients and educates them on post-procedure protocol and follow-up.Education and/or Experience:Masters (M.A.) or equivalent or four to ten years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Certificates, Licenses and Registrations: State of Arizona Nurse Practitioner License Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification(NCCPA/American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Certification
