At present, Mercy Gilbert Medical Center has 206private rooms with guest accommodations, with the capacity to expand to 400 beds over the next five years. POSITION REQUIREMENTS JOB SUMMARY: This position floats throughout the hospital to complete admission history and discharge process. This position also processes patient transfers to other facilities, including long-term care facilities.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS1. Associates Degree leading to RN licensure 2. Diverse clinical experience to include Medical/Surgical, Telemetry or ICU 3. Proficient with Meditech and admission/discharge paperwork4. Demonstrated professional leadership skills that include problem resolution capabilities5. Demonstrated ability to apply technical and critical thinking principles, treatment, and evaluation of patient and families6. Demonstrated cognitive and psychomotor capabilities in diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of patients and families7. Excellent negotiation and conflict management skills required8. Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills required9. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and remain flexible10. Computer literacy in Meditech, Word Processing, and Excel spreadsheets; basic statistical skills11. Basic knowledge of Healthcare law and financeLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION1. AZ RN license or RN license from a Compact State2. Certified professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certified Case Manager (CCM) or Certified Professional in Utilization Review (CPUR) preferred3. CCRN certification preferred.
