QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate must an earned doctorate (Ph.D., DNSc, or equivalent) in nursing or a related discipline from an accredited university/college; masters degree in nursing, if doctorate is not in nursing; RN licensure or eligibility for unencumbered licensure in WV; evidence of successful teaching, scholarship and service; proven ability to maintain and monitor fiscal resources, develop and interpret financial data/plans and secure funding to support educational initiatives; proven ability to work in partnership with program directors.RESPONSIBLIITIES: Essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the following: responsible for the overall academic and administrative management for selected areas of the School of Health Sciences and Nursing as designated by the Dean; coordinate graduate and undergraduate nursing programs on new branch campuses; teach one course per semester; review monthly quality updates with program directors; clinical affiliation agreements; participate on School of Health Sciences and Nursing Leadership Team.
