We are also the home of Texas State University and one of the largest natural springs in Texas. Centrally located to several water parks, outdoor malls, theaters, along the Guadalupe River that provides a venue for many water sports.On September 4, 2008,(expected opening November 2009) this facility broke ground on a $35 Million expansion project that will include a 2-story 64,000 square foot addition for a total of 139 private beds. The expansion will create a new Surgery Suite with 6 operating rooms and 36 Medical/Surgical Cardiac-Monitored beds.
