Opelousas General Health System has an immediate opening for a Registered Nurse on the Medical-Surgical Unit. This unit serves patients with multiple medical conditions, including pneumonia, diabetes, and renal problems. The unit also manages patient post-operatively. The RN candidate will be responsible for independent planning and implementing those activities essential to the provision of quality nursing care for assigned patients. A qualified candidate must be patient-focused. Posses a minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing; a BSN is encouraged. Must also have a current license to practice as an RN in the State of Louisiana. Experience preferred; New Graduates are welcomed. Certifications include CPR and ACLS.
