PeaceHealth Medical Group a multi-specialty group in Bellingham, WA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to joins its Sleep Clinic. Demonstrates compassion, respect and caring while working within the scope practice, responsible for advanced level of nursing evaluation, clinical assessment, prescribing and monitoring medications and follow-up care for patient. Responsible for patient and family teaching. Works collaboratively with all other healthcare team members toward the best outcomes for the patient and the organization. The Nurse Practitioner works both as an independent practitioner and as an integral part of the interdisciplinary care team in the Department of the Sleep clinic. The Nurse Practitioner and the Physician collaborate on a case-by-case basis. Develops physician and patient relationships which promote utilization of and satisfaction with services at the Department of Sleep Clinic. Performs a variety of technical procedures.Education: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; Masters degree in nursing or science required Licensure/Certification: Washington State RN license and advanced practice nursing license with prescriptive privileges required.
