Region Ten´s crisis stabilization unit, the Wellness Recovery Center, needs you special blend of medical/nursing expertise and non-traditional care to assist people in recovery from a crisis.
In addition to medications and supportive counseling, acupuncture, DBT, anger management, and other approaches are utilized in a person-centered voluntary step-down environment. In this half-time position, you will work in conjunction with David Moody, M.D. and the staff of WRC to provide psychiatric evaluations, physical examinations, and medication evaluation and follow-up to the individuals served. You will provide consultation to other members of the clinical staff in treatment planning, especially in the areas of differential diagnosis, treatment, neurological, medical, and medico-legal issues. Schedule is five half-days weekly, including weekends, with some scheduling flexibility during the week. Salary negotiable.
