We are a single specialty group-owned practice, seeking a full-time nurse practitioner to join our group. Responsibilities are primarily inpatient, including admits, rounds, discharges, and consults. Some outpatient duties possible. We offer excellent compensation and benefits. We are located in Chesterfield, MO within 10 miles of St. Johns Mercy Medical Center, with our offices on site at St. Johns Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital. We have a traditional, all-encompassing Rehabilitation practice with plenty of referrals and great opportunities for both inpatient and outpatient practice. St. Johns Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital is a freestanding facility located near St. Johns Mercy Medical Center and is one of the only rehab hospitals with dedicated SCI, brain injury, and stroke wings. The hospital is expanding; by February of 2010 there will be 68 beds. St. Johns Mercy Medical Center is one of three Level I trauma centers in the St. Louis area. While the other trauma centers are located downtown, St. Johns is located in St. Louis county and serves the suburbs and outlying cities. This is a large, all specialty hospital providing plenty of referral opportunities.
