We are currently seeking a Clinical Coordinator in Cardiac Surgery at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, our largest hospital. With 188 beds, GSRMC offers more than 22 medical specialties including comprehensive cancer care, a full-service cardiology, cardiac and vascular surgery program, a sleep lab, neurosurgery and other regional services and is one of three Level II Trauma Centers in the state.This position is accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, age-appropriate, patient care, while practicing within the scope of practice of the Oregon State Board of Nursing and acts as a resource to the nursing staff. This position coordinates the daily schedule and staffing for the cardiac surgery specialty. Maintains training materials, updates physician preference cards electronically and manages equipment and instrumentation for cardiac surgery. Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required or eligible. Healthcare Provider BLS required or eligible. Minimum of two years experience scrubbing and circulating Cardiac Cases required. Position requires call coverage for Cardiac Surgery on a rotating basis.
