Responsibilities 1. Oversees multi-site projects/processes of a complex nature. 2. Collaborates with chief nurse officer/designee, vice presidents, facility medical directors and nursing and allied health directors/managers in (re)designing processes that address current trends in healthcare, organizational goals, and staff/patient issues across multiple sites. 3. Conducts research and makes recommendations as to feasible approaches for redesign/system improvements. 4. Develops timelines and implementation plans to meet goals for clinical practice, including cost management and physician, staff, and patient satisfaction. 5. Provides consultation to site vice presidents, facility medical directors, directors, and clinical managers to facilitate effective implementation and evaluation of newly designed systems. 6. Provides consultative oversight for the ongoing implementation and evaluation of system processes that include Regulatory (JCAHO, CMMS) compliance, patient care delivery (including roles and responsibilities for all levels of teams, policies and procedures), performance improvement and documentation. 7. Manages change-management with department directors/clinical managers and facilitates effective change with more complex network, site, specialty and department projects. 8. Integrates system scopes and project objectives of aligned departments, including but not limited to, legal, risk management, organizational development, network education, and interdisciplinary departments such as nursing, pharmaceutical, and nutritional services. 9. Designs PI processes specific to systems and coordinates implementation, including the collecting and analyzing of PI data. 10. Designs and produces reports required by chief nurse officer, vice presidents, medical directors, and department directors. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) or equivalent is required. MSN or a related Masters degree is preferred. Five (5) years experience in staff education, management, and/or project coordination is required. Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice nursing in the State of Texas is required.
