Nurse Practitioner for pain management /medication counseling/ non-surgical spine care
Busy physician practice focused on nonsurgical / interventional spine care, musculoskeletal injuries, physical medicine and rehabilitation, and pain management seeks experienced Nurse Practitioner. Responsibilities include: Patient consultations, drug evaluations, determining appropriate diagnostic tests, formulating treatment plans, prescribing medications, performing trigger point injections, and assisting the physician during all aspects of patient care in the office setting.The candidate must be highly motivated, hard working, with excellent communication skills, and able to work well with others in a team-oriented environment. Ideal candidate would have minimum of 2 years experience in non-surgical spine care, physical medicine and rehabilitation, orthopedics / musculoskeletal medicine, or pain management. NY license is required.Office is equipped with EMR system and has full x-ray, MRI, CT Scan, physical therapy, with multiple specialists for referrals. In addition there is an office based fluoroscopy suite for spinal injections.Monday-Friday. No weekends. No on-call. No inpatient responsibilities.Excellent salary and full benefits plus malpractice and CME to the proper candidate.
