The Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed unit. This team-oriented, collegial unit enjoys meeting the needs of complex, critically ill patients. The technology is state of the art and includes CVVH, IABP and hypothermic protocol. Patients in this unit have a variety of cardiovascular, neurological, medical and surgical diagnoses like post open heart surgery, respiratory failure, renal disease, carotid stents, craniotomies, endovascular coiling, sepsis, and other multisystem problems.
