The Nursing Manager of Emergency Services assumes twenty-four hour accountability for all functions of the department, under the general supervision of the Nursing Director. In collaboration with the Nursing Director and Medical Director, the Nursing Manager is responsible for the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the department by all levels of practitioners. The Nursing Manager assists with developing and implementing performance initiatives to ensure optimal patient outcomes and customer satisfaction. Experience maybe substituted for part of the education requirement as appropriate.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS REQUIREDCurrent, valid license to practice as an RN in the State of Texas. TNCC, ENPC or PALS, and ACLS. Specialty Certification preferred.
