Detailed Position DescriptionProvides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using nursing interventions in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Essential duties include: patient documentation; direct patient care/assessment; medication administration; discharge planning, and community resource referral and education. Actively participates in the process for operational improvement and quality improvement; Involved in learning and self-improvement and provides leadership through communication, education and management. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies. Education RequirementsBachelor degree in Nursing from accredited program and evidence of ability to assume responsibility of the Advanced Clinical Nurse role or Clinical Nurse who has demonstrated the ability to assume responsibility of the Advanced Clinical Nurse role.
