Share our passion and join our team.Coordinates the case management of patient care using clinical pathways or other formalized interdisciplinary care maps. Works with clinical staff in the development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of clinical pathways of targeted diagnosis. Utilizes clinical outcome data, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, to support innovative and cost-effective changes. Serves as interdepartmental liaison to achieve established case management goals. QUALIFICATIONS:* A Bachelors degree in Nursing is required.* Approximately three to four years of progressively more responsible clinical nursing experience in oncology required.* Experience as an oncology nurse in an outpatient/homecare oncology setting working with medical oncologists or hematologists is preferred.* Licensure as a registered nurse in the District of Columbia is required.* Certification as an Oncology Nurse is required.
