Join the team Named one of the Top 100 Companies by Working Mother MagazineWellStar Health System is seeking a dynamic Executive Director, Women´s Services for Kennestone Hospital.The Executive Director, Women´s Services reports to the VP, CNO for Kennestone Hospital and is responsible to lead by providing strategic and operational direction for the programs most vital to Women´s Services at Kennestone Hospital. The key areas consist of Labor & Delivery, Mother Baby, Women´s Services (NICU, Anti-pardum, C-Section, Bariatric, Nursery, etc).A successful candidate will ensure compliance to necessary regulatory agencies - boards of health, GA Council on Child Abuse, Children´s Trust Fund, JCAHO, Dept of Labor, HIPPA, etc. Coordinate activities to ensure regulatory compliance at hospitals.A successful candidate will be instrumental in growing the Women´s Services program and will lead the departments directors, managers, and supervisors in scheduling, managing financial data, and human resources, ensuring regulatory compliance, improving program performance and trouble-shooting, maintaining and improving productivity, and communicating effectively with patients, participants, staff, co-workers, and others.This critical leadership role for WellStar Kennestone Hospital requires a skilled, time tested leader who know how to take a Women´s program to the next level Required Minimum Experience:-10 years acute care hospital experience;-5 years leadership in a Women´s Services environment;-Experience coming from a similar size facility as Kennestone ( 500 beds and above)Required Minimum Education:BSN from an accredited Nursing programMasters degree in Health Services, Business, or related field Required Minimum Skills:*Strong leadership skills - ability to work with teams and lead team.*Advanced clinical expertise in field of women´s health and able to use expertise to support and promote the delivery of safe, age appropriate and culturally aware patient care. Expert knowledge of the multiple issues in women´s healthcare (pregnancy, teen health, mid-life, etc). *Strong fundraising skills for sponsorships and special events as well as through grants.*Strong customer service skills both internal and external.*Knowledge of accreditation/quality management/performance improvement. Knowledge of reimbursement regulations and financial reports.*Knowledge of community resources.*Knowledge of non-profit organizations laws and policies.*Awareness of government relations and advocacy.*Excellent organization and communication skills. Presentation skills.
