Qualifications: Current CA RN license and AHA BLS Certification. One (1)-year recent (within the last three (3) years) full-time equivalent experience in Critical Care or completion of a Kaiser Permanente (KP) or equivalent Critical Care course within prior 12 months. Current ACLS card required. This internship is for RNs with at least a year of hospital nursing experience wishing to change specialties. It will begin Feb. 1, 2010. There is a one year work agreement associated with the internship which will begin upon completion of internship program.The ICU/CCU RN manages the nursing care of critically ill patients in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
