The Hospitalist program at Bridgeport Hospital requires a full-time APRN to join their existing group of eleven Internal Medicine physicians, one APRN, and one PA-C. The position would be for day or late evening shifts, 8 to 12-hours each, 40 hrs a week, availability of working every other weekend, (no nights or no on-call), with competitive pay, and CME allowance. The job would also include a full range of comprehensive benefits, including malpractice insurance, medical coverage, and retirement benefits. There is also time for weekly CME conferences.Duties would include initial admission evaluations, history and physicals, daily ward rounds, patient management, coordination of care, discharge planning and summaries.
