LDS Hospital is expanding its Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) Unit and we are looking for Registered Nurses who have BMT experience. You´ll be able to advance your medical skills by caring for oncology patients receiving chemotherapy and/or blood and marrow transplant, as well as providing care to patients with wounds, tube feedings, pain management and post surgical needs. In addition East 8 offers Palliative/End of Life care and in-patient Hospice care. This full time night position is open to all RN with one or more years experience or a participant in the Urban Central Region New-Grad Residency program. UT RN licensure (or license eligible) required. BLS health care provider certification or higher CPR is required. Blood and Marrow Transplant or oncology experience preferred. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to transfer and position patients independently and safely. This position is primarily for night shifts. Must have a minimum of 1 year RN experience or a participant in the UCR New-Grad Residency program.
