Summary: We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced NP to join an exciting new program in the ER at Los Robles Regional Medical Center located in Thousand Oaks California. Part-time per diem positions with 12 hour shifts are available. Our ER is well staffed and you will have full collaborative physician and NP mentorship in a supportive environment. Requirements/Qualifications: Education/Certification/Licensure: Graduate of an approved accredited Nurse Practitioner program, MSN required Current California Registered Nurse license, program, Board Certified, DEA number and furnishing license, current BCLS & ACLS Certification. The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 1 year experience in emergency medicine or urgent care. Responsibilities: Following written protocols, the NP will perform medical screening examinations for patients of all ages; order diagnostic laboratory and radiographic tests; diagnose & treat acute illnesses & infections and injuries; perform procedures such as laceration repair, I & D, wound checks; furnish medications; formulate and implement treatment and therapeutic plans.
