She/he consistently demonstrates professional skills and abilities, utilizes her/his knowledge base and exemplary leadership and educational skills to direct and supervise the clinical performance of others in the role of collegial consultant and resource person. She/he demonstrates motivation and creativity and serves as a catalyst for effective changes within Nursing at the unit, service line and institutional levels. The Clinical Nurse IV provides nursing care consistent with Nursing Standards of Care/Practice, the Plan for Provision of Nursing Care, the Plan of Care to Patients, CSMC Code of Conduct, the Performance Improvement Plan, the Patient Education Plan and Professional Organization Standards. She/he maintains competency skills including the ability to provide care to special patient populations and patients with diverse cultural backgrounds. He/she can institute measures to provide a safe environment; and provide appropriate assessment, intervention and evaluations of patients with consideration of developmental milestones. Education and Work Experience Preferences: Educational Requirements:-A valid California Registered Nurse License-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.-Bachelor´s of Science in Nursing required.-Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse required (CRRN).-Minimum of 3 years experience in specialty area preferred.-Working knowledge of applicable Standards of Practice.-Knowledgeable and proficient in the use of heath care technology within specialty area.-Demonstrates a commitment to customer service and an ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and health care colleagues.-Full command of the English language (verbal and written).-Meets clinical criteria and protocol for Clinical Nurse IV.Physical Demands:The physical ability and perceptive acuity to satisfactorily perform all direct and indirect patient care functions

The Rehab Community Relations Liaison is responsible for achieving Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation strategic organizational goals through: Understanding and attracting an appropriate mix of customers (patients/families, referral sources, and payors). Enhancing our customer focus within rehab services and communicating with target populations about such services. Improving customer awareness of, access to, and satisfaction with our services. Minimum Requirements Previous experience in strategic planning, direct marketing and promotion of clinical services is required. Minimum of three (3) years of previous clinical experience is required. Rehab specific experience is preferred. Previous experience with development of both print and electronic media preferred. Experience in Database management (Microsoft Access & Excel) is required. Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional (includes Word, Excel, and Power Point). Able to communicate verbally and in writing. Able to engage in public speaking, public presentations, and professional publishing. Able to work independently. Able to organize and prioritize the multiple demands of the position. Education/Licenses/Certifications A licensed Registered Nurse is required. CRRN preferred. BSN preferred.

The Inpatient Rehab RN manages the nursing care of critically ill patients in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Under the direction of the Nursing Director and the Clinical Rehabilitation Coordinator, performs off-site preadmission screenings, promotes the services of the Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center (VRC) and facilitates appropriate admission to the department.Graduate from a school of nursing and licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island or in the nurses primary state of legal residency if that state is a member of the Nurse Licensure Compact. BSN and certification in rehabilitation nursing desired. Knowledge of utilization review process, health care reimbursement, and physical rehabilitation principles. Current CPR certification.
