The Infection Prevention RN plans, organizes, coordinates and evaluates the Infection Prevention Program. Implements a hospital-wide Infection Prevention Program. Assists the organization with regulatory compliance. Conducts the activities of surveillance by collecting monthly nosocomial infection rates, identifies and monitors trends, initiates problem solving and analyzes outcomes -Successful completion of IC education courses preferred.-Five (5) years recent clinical experience in an acute care setting required.-OR RN License required or eligible.-Healthcare provider BLS required.-Certified Infection Control (CIC) preferred, initiates problem solving and analyzes outcomes.
