We are seeking qualified, experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join our NICU team. A full service, acute-care 425-bed regional referral center, delivering more than 2,600 babies a year. Good Shepherd is home to the region’s first Level IIIa Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. We operate 31 beds, NICU and NIMC combined. We accept babies born as early as 24 weeks gestation, and full-term babies with special needs. We accept high-risk obstetrical patients and newborns from throughout the East Texas region. As a Level II Trauma Center, Good Shepherd provides the highest level of trauma care for Gregg County and the surrounding area. The Medical Center is also home to the region’s first Neonatal Intensive Care Unit which is staffed by neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners and neonatal nurses. Throughout its history, Good Shepherd Medical Center is honored to have served as the healthcare leader for the East Texas region receiving national recognition for quality outcomes from independent resources like HealthGrades and the Texas Medical Foundation.
