Lead Nurse, RN opportunity in Falls Church, Virginia!

Schedule: Rotating part-time position to include nights and weekends from the hours of 4:00PM to12:00AM Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.Purpose: To support the Clinical Coordinator in providing high quality customer service for both internal and external customer.This position consistently supports compliance and Kaiser Permanente’s Code of Conduct by adhering to federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements and Kaiser Permanente’s policies and procedures. Calls in staff to meet minimum staffing requirements, including authorizing overtime, coordinating with other clinical teams to cover staff shortages and processes provider schedule changes when delegated by the Clinical Coordinator.5. Handles difficult and problematic work situations, including resolving member issues.6. Serves as resource for other staff members by answering questions; orients new staff, and identifies staff needs for training (and provides in-service training as needed).7. Performs special projects as assigned by the CC.8. Routinely provides feedback to CC for staff performance, work habits, and barriers to efficient, high quality work.9. Assists development and revision of department procedures.10.
