St. Josephs Neuro ICU Unit is committed to the highest level of patient satisfaction. Within the 64-bed Neuro ICU Department, youll be a part of a world-renowned facility. Also, you will be part of our new, state-of-the-art Barrow Neurological Tower that opened in July, 2006 that will help you take your professional abilities to a new level. While this unique position may provide direct patient care based on the needs of the unit, it is primarily designed to work under the direction of the Manager of Nursing Services and collaboratively with a team of supervisors to lead the daily operational activities of the unit including; coordinating and supervising patient care employees, and acting as a liaison with physicians, patients, families and staff. This position is ideal for the Registered Nurse who is ready to move-up in the organization and take on a leadership role while using their skills and experience to educate and motivate others to excel in the healthcare profession. This position is regularly scheduled to work 80 hours/every 2 weeks and is eligible for pay differentials. REQUIREMENTS: Arizona RN license BCLS with resuscitation level certificate as appropriate to assigned clinical area Five years RN experience required Three years recent experience within the assigned clinical area ACLS PREFFERED: Prior supervisor/charge nurse experience Bachelors Degree strongly preferred
