We are currently seeking a full-time Nurse Manager to assume 24-hour responsibility of the Labor & Delivery Department where we deliver approximately 3,500 babies annually. The Nurse Manager will act to assure that patient care is designed, coordinated, integrated and evaluated for the patients and families who receive care within the system. Responsibilities will include:- Serving as a leader and partner in the interdisciplinary health care team serving the assigned population or unit of service- Managing the team of nursing providers serving the population and delegating the nursing team resource functions- Managing outcomes by collecting and synthesizing data to direct and achieve optimal outcomes- Managing information systems and technologies that place knowledge at the point of care to improve health outcomes- Functioning as the systems analyst, acting to anticipate and minimize risk with the aim of preventingQualifications:- Florida Registered Nurse License- Bachelors Degree from an accredited school; BSN strongly preferred - A minimum of three years applied clinical experience as a Registered Nurse- A minimum of two years progressive nursing leadership experience - Basic Life Support Certification - Appropriate specialty certification strongly preferred or obtained within one year of hire- Applicants who have a nursing degree and either have completed or are enrolled in an accredited RN to MSN curriculum program with an education plan for completion within two years of enrollment meet the minimum qualificationYour HometownWe love calling Naples, Florida home. Responsible for the clinical, administrative, managerial and fiscal operations of the OB/GYN practices. Surgical scheduling. May assist with office procedures, patient education, and triage. Current NYS RN license. OB/GYN experience preferred. Knowledge of operational and fiscal management experience in medical practice preferred. Effective oral and written communication skills.
