The Employee Health Nurse supports the health and well-being of Kaiser Permanente Georgia employees, physicians, and associate practitioners through programs that focus on the promotion and restoration of health, the prevention of illness and the protection from work-related and environmental hazards. Specific areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, monitoring and follow up of pre-employment screening; orientation and training of new employees; management and follow up of blood borne pathogen and communicable disease exposures; program for annual tuberculosis exposure testing, follow up, monitoring, tracking and reporting; development and coordination of annual employee influenza immunization program.
