Plans and organizes training for unit staff members, and participates in guidance and educational programs. Provides direct patient care when necessary for specific patient age groups.RequirementsInterested candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, a current TX RN license, 5 years of progressive clinical management experience, current inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant experience and ACLS certification. A Master’s degree in Nursing is strongly preferred. Critical Care experience is highly desirable. This role will also:• Works in partnership with management team within BRTI to ensure the provision of optimal patient care and service, attainment of financial goals, and development and implementation of the strategic plan for BRTI. • Works collaboratively with the physicians and management team to identify, develop and implement clinical and operational processes to support the daily operations. • Oversees and manages clinical staff including maintaining appropriate staffing levels, and managing clinical staff through appropriate HR guidelines. • Responsible for complying with hospital policies and procedures and providing education to clinical staff within the department. • Responsible for ensuring that the operational processes are in compliance with the various regulatory standards impacting transplant (UNOS Bylaws and policies, Medicare Conditions of Participation and JCAHO). • Responsible for financial, productivity and other performance metrics as determined by the organization.RequirementsInterested candidates must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, a current TX RN license and 2 years of solid nursing management experience in a clinically related area.
