Variable shift, may includeworking weekends, evenings, and nights.EDUCATION: B.S. in Pharmacy required, Pharm.D. preferredLICENSE: Current CA Registered Pharmacist LicensePOSITION SUMMARY:QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of Federal and State laws, regulations and standards regarding theprovision of pharmaceutical services. Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to extract pertinent information from the patient, or other sources and relate it to thepatient´s medical management plan. Ability to learn and operate pharmacy computer system(s) andother equipment. Must be able to type prescription labels. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK.DUTIES: Under indirect supervision, consults with patients and medical personnel regardingmedication therapy. Provides direction to Pharmacist Residents, Pharmacist Interns, PharmacyTechnicians and other non-licensed personnel. Dispenses, compounds, procures, stores and distributespharmacy products. Provides medical personnel and patients with medication information and productidentification. Performs other duties as required.
