Accurately charges / credits patient accounts.Accurately stocks IV solutions and medications for storage and pharmacy inventory. Packages and labels medications appropriately to minimize waste and requests reordering when necessary.Monitors pharmacy inventory during daily rounds to minimize wastage, assure doses are available for patients and IV solutions are recycled appropriately.Prepares compounded medications and parenteral products using aseptic technique in accordance with current standards of practice guidelines.Demonstrates professionalism in interactions with patients, physicians, nursing staff and other patient care members and coworkers in the Pharmacy.Completes assigned monthly Medication Area Inspection Record.Verifies narcotic inventory daily. Retrieves anesthesia trays, C-Sections trays, heart trays, etc. Accurately restock, seals and returns all trays.Clean and log IV hood daily.Verify and log refrigerator temperatures daily. Assists in orientation and training of new employees.Responds to all task or performance related questions patiently and thoroughly, providing context as well as direction.Sets goals and objectives consistent with the organizations goals and develops effective actions plans for their achievement.JOB REQUIREMENTS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
