Dir, Pharmacy Services, Cary - Cary, NC
Position is responsible for the administrative management including the clinical, operating and financial outcomes for the services of the Pharmacy department for the Cary Hospital. Position is accountable for the integration of the WakeMed mission, vision and values into the performance of all areas of responsibility. Works in collaboration with customers, administration, medical staff, peers, and subordinates to fulfill job responsibilities, meet performance standards and achieve departmental goals and objectives. In cooperation with the Vice President , Operations, Chief Nursing Officer, Senior Vice President/Executive Director of Cary Hospital and division leadership this position shares responsibility for strategic planning, program development, standards compliance and integration of system wide service delivery. Identifies opportunities to improve patient safety and participates in projects and programs designed to reduce error and improve safety.
