Inpatient pharmacy services are provided using decentralized and satellite-based pharmacy models. Most of the drug distribution is automated, using a Robot-Rx for cart fills and unit-based cabinets for narcotic and floor stock drug control. With facilities located in Wilmington and Newark, Delaware, we are one of the largest health care providers in the mid-Atlantic region, serving all of Delaware and portions of the bordering states of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.The Pharmacy Department is currently recruiting for a full-time Pharmacist to work at our Christiana Hospital and HealthCare Center at Christiana Retail Pharmacies.Pharmacist activities include outpatient pharmacy coverage, order review, provision of drug information to patients and healthcare providers, drug distribution, and supervising pharmacy technicians.Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Pharmacology or PharmD and hospital experience is preferred.The Christiana Care Retail Pharmacies operate 8 to 12 hours per day depending on the location. Candidates must be flexible with hours they will work. You may be required to work rotating 8 hours shifts with start times from 7:00am - 12:00pm.
