An assignment now exists on the Countys MAP team for: PHARMACY TECHNICIAN II Per Diem $14.84 HourlyUnder the guidance and supervision of the Pharmacists, the Pharmacy Technician II Per Diem assists in the preparation, distribution and clerical processing of new prescriptions and/or medication orders at Riverside County pharmacies. The qualified candidate is a graduate from a Pharmacy Technician training program accredited by the American Society of Health Systems Pharmacists and must possess a valid Pharmacy Technician certificate issued by the California State Board of Pharmacy. Pharmacy Technicians II - Per Diems are knowledgeable about the proper storage and security procedures used in working with pharmaceuticals, pharmaceutical and medical terminology, and Medi-Cal/MIA laws. The qualified applicant will understand and follow oral and written instructions, deal effectively with the public and co-workers, and read and interpret prescriptions from physicians orders.
