Job Summary: Works under the supervision of the Inpatient Supervisor to provide a wide scope pharmaceutical service. These include analyzing, dispensing, compounding, monitoring and recommending appropriate pharmaceutical care for neonatal, pediatric and adult patients. Work is accomplish in accordance with the policies and regulations of local, state and federal authorities as well as accepted standards of practice. Job Summary: Works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Director of Clinical Services to provide clinical pharmacy services at Loma Linda University Medical Center. Promotes rational drug therapy to physicians, optimize neonatal, pediatric and adult patient outcomes and minimize hospital costs whenever possible. Performs other duties as needed.Job Specifications: Graduation from a school of pharmacy accredited by the American Board on pharmaceutical education. PharmD degree preferred. Current California Pharmacist license. Two to three years of clinical pharmacy experience, including supervision of interns and technicians. Able to write legibly; assemble, troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment and perform technical age-specific patient care activities as required; use computer and software programs necessary to the position. Able to communicate effectively and professionally with others, be assertive and consistent in following policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure, collaborate with others; accept direction.

Acts as the major source of drug information for the patient and other health professionals. Performs other duties as needed. Job Specifications: Graduation from accredited school of pharmacy. Current California Pharmacist license required. One to two years of pharmacy experience. Able to write legibly, speak, assemble, troubleshoot and calibrate patient care equipment and perform technical age-specific patient care activities as required.
