Responsibilities Provides and compounds prescribed medications, drug, IV mixtures, and other pharmaceutical according to professional standards and practices. Provides information and services necessary for safe and appropriate use of drugs to patients and families, and medical and nursing staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Knowledge normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors degree plus up to one year of post-degree course work and /or an internship and less than a year of previous experience. Licensure required as Pharmacist by the State of New York. Degree or major in Pharmacy required.
