Phoenix Children´s Hospital is the only specialty children´s hospital in Arizona and it is poised to become one of the foremost pediatric hospitals in the nation. Primary Purpose: Oversees the daily activities of the medication use process and provides comprehensive Pharmacy services to patients from neonate to young adulthood. Performs the duties of a registered pharmacist as defined by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy and Phoenix Children´s Hospital. Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and local laws and regulations as well as proper storage and documentation. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications: -Current licensure as a Pharmacist either by reciprocity or examination by the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy. Preferred Qualifications: -Excellent problem solving skills and sound judgment.-Experience in a hospital Pharmacy practice.-Experience with information systems and automated and technical equipment.-Knowledge of drug products, medical therapeutics, pharmacokinetics, and disease states.-One (1) year previous pediatric patient population experience.
